“My work in fiber art is a spiritual and historical dialogue - a sacred conversation between the past, present, and future. Each stitch I make is intentional, and I become rooted in the specific theme or genre that has captured my attention. ”
I believe that through the needle, we mend not only cloth, but also community and spirit.
ABOUT LORRIN
My work in fiber art is a spiritual and historical dialogue - a sacred conversation between the past, present, and future. Each stitch I make is intentional, and I become rooted in the specific theme or genre that has captured my attention. For over two decades, quilting has been my form of storytelling, ministry, and meditation. Whether honoring Proverbs 31 women, echoing the strength of our foremothers, or guiding new creators, I see fiber as more than fabric—it is testimony. My pieces often incorporate collage, scripture, and layered materials that speak to resilience, worship, and transformation. I believe that through the needle, we mend not only cloth, but also community and spirit. In every panel I create or curate, I aim to elevate unseen stories and stir the soul toward hope, courage, and remembrance.
